Claudio, I said it before and I'll say it again. I just love your work! It shows that you really love what you do. Congratulations on your wonderful mastery of color and shape.
Thanks for the interview, Claudio. Very inspiring. Now when I see this kind of beautiful masterpiece, I can't help but crave for a step by step look into your process... pretty please ? :)
Cesare THANKS but you over estimate me! I just use a picture as a reference, it's a bit more than an exercise. But I'll practise more.
Rawls, your comments keep me artistic alive.
Romain, MERCI, I'm embarrassed, are you really interested in that? Well... I always had problems to keep freshness from the first rough to the final refined drawing so I just avoid to follow this trail. I noticed that when I make a drawing (especially a character) I draw it thinking it's already the final line and to do that I use a black pen, then I scan the drawing and I make it very light with very low contrast with photoshop, I duplicate this drawing several time on the same sheet of paper and I print it.I obtain something that can make you remind a drawing that is possible to see under another sheet of paper. I draw with the same approach on top of that those parts I do not like on the first version, I scan them again and I "multiply" them on top of the first drawing. In this way I can have a drawing (almost) totally fresh and I can make as much mistake as I wish all the time.
Piero, ho scelto il soggetto ricordandomi della mia.
Andrea allora ho fallito, credevo d'ispirare. Ciao beddu.
THANKS Anthony, thanks a lot.

Joysuke is in Spain...if I remember well ;D
Ciao Parka THANK YOU, I was looking at a photo while I was doing it.
