My pen is broken...I'll post some old stuff untill I'll get a new one. I'm still working with an Intuos 2 since 2003 (^_^) Here a page of a comic published on ANIMAls n° 16
These are awesome Claudio (as usual!). I had to look up Intuos 2 haha that's cool soon you will be old school. Did you use a felt pen for these drawings or was this done on the Intuos 2 as well?
Cool comic. Too bad I will have no chance to see it fully. :( Please, make another video!... Talking about games..There are actually a lot of interesting ones for every taste and mostly for consoles. PC games usually have too realistic and heavy graphics and console games use more cartoony and design-driven style. (Thats why console game market is dominated by Japan.) But of course, even the most beautiful games often lack something...Most of all, nice script. Usual game script is full of stereotypes... I don`t know, what do you think about stereotypes in animation? Are there good and bad stereotypes? And what can be called a good stereotype (if such thing exist)?
Hobo, THANK YOU! I feel more I'm a... old soul ^_^ I use to do a drawing with a ballpen then I color everything in photoshop, I feel confident with a mix of traditional and digital
ZM, THANK YOU! The world of videogames is something I'll have to explore, it sounds like a paradox but I guess it's easyer to see free graphical expressions there instead of "normal" animation products. About stereotypes....I like stereotypes unless they are made in a spontaneous way. Than we should decide what does it mean to be spontaneous.... for many artists it's important to make a kind of drawing in a way nobody would ever say "I don't like it", I suppose they are very spontaneous with that attitude, they are very much confident living with that kind of internal judgement, I don't think it makes sense to talk about self-censure because they would feel bad if they wouldn't do that. In my case I try to be honest with my taste as much as possible not because I'm brave but because it brings me pleasure doing that. I often end up making stereotipes out of fasion ^_^ I suppose that using stereotypes it has something to do with the need of communication, but if you are forced in formulas...that is sad, like for example this hiper-cinical approach that turn out been so fancy...I really don't understand it....
Ciao Rob, purtroppo si! Non so che fare....l'ho cambiata qualche mese fa e siamo gia' da capo come prima.La cibernetica non mi piace, rivoglio la meccanica.
